Mr. McWhorter has been active in the martial arts since 1986 and a
 certified
 black belt since 1991.  He serves on the Traditional Wushu Committee of
 the
 USA Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) and serves as the Vice Chairman of
 the
 USAWKF's Communication Committee.  His broad experience includes a wide
 variety of martial arts styles--Wing Chun, Taiji, kempo, Filipino martial
 arts, and grappling.  He currently focuses his practice and teaching on
 Wing
 Chun, taiji, and qigong.  He is a third-generation disciple of Yip Man
 Wing
 Chun and a sixth-generation disciple of Yang style taiji.  His most
 recent
 writing credits include an article on Wing Chun kicking theory in 'Inside
 Kung-Fu' magazine.  He currently resides and teaches in the
 Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana area.
